Yuma Dentist - Dennis R. Wong, DMD
Dear Valued Dental Patients,
This letter is to notify you that I am retiring from my dental practice effective March 7, 2025. I
am very excited for this new chapter of my life. I want to express my sincere gratitude for the
trust you have placed in me. It has been a privilege to care for your families, building strong
relationships that extend beyond the dental chair. While the announcement of my retirement
may have come suddenly, I am committed to facilitating a smooth transition for the new dentist.
I am pleased to introduce Dr. Cecelia Nguyen, who will be taking over my practice!
Dr. Nguyen is originally from northeast Indiana and earned her
Science-Business degree from the University of Notre Dame
and her Doctor of Dental Medicine and Public Health certificate
from the Arizona School of Dental and Oral Health. After
practicing in Oklahoma, she relocated to Yuma, Arizona seeking sunshine and community connection.
Dr. Nguyen will be supported in her role by Dr. Thor Thorson and Dr. Stephen Garner as the
office becomes part of the Gila Ridge Dental family. Gila Ridge Dental has locations in
Foothills and College Park. They have been a part of the Yuma community for over 16 years
and have maintained a reputation for quality, caring service to their patients.
All the staff will continue in their positions and are excited to work with the new doctor. I am
confident that Dr. Nguyen will continue to provide the exceptional care you have come to
expect from me. Once again, I want to thank you all for your understanding and continued support. If you have any questions, please let us know.
